I see the world and women being pushed aside and under valued. This series is my way of drawing parallels between women and nature. These pieces are meant to bring attention, hope, and beauty into the conversation about conservation and feminism.

The idea for this series began in a time when dead fish were washing up on beaches, the ocean was (and is) warming, birds and other sea creatures are dying from ingesting too much plastic, and storms are battering costal cities.

There is hope for a better future, and a healed world. We have to act now. People tend to turn away from things that seem bleak. These paintings and drawings are meant to be symbols of hope and beauty, inspiring action.
